In this course, students will gain insights into criminal law and how the criminal justice system works.Criminology is the study of crime and responses to crime and hence will study a wide range of fascinating subjects, Learn about sentencing, what makes a criminal mind work, and the role of criminal justice agencies, the courts, police and correctional officers. Students will also study our criminal justice system, including offender profiling, interrogation, false confessions, Aboriginal over-representation and juvenile justice. Completing this course will help student to make a difference in a range of roles - working with criminals, investigating and preventing crime, or working in the criminal justice system.
Forensic Biology and Toxicology (BForensics),Legal Studies (BLS), Psychology (BPsych, BA), Security, Terrorism and Counterterrorism Studies (BA).
In this course major studies include detailed study related to crime, criminal justice system, including offender profiling, interrogation, false confessions.
