In this course, students will learn how to encourage young children to learn and become the best they can be. Primary education begins the process of learning that will continue through life - so this course will equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to teach in a primary school.Students will learn about the theory, practice and management of teaching, including the place and role of education, the characteristics of learners and the teaching-learning process.If student is passionate about a particular area of teaching, then student can combine degree with a minor area of study. For example, a minor in Inclusive Education could lead to working with children who need more personal attention, or a minor in Drama could help student to promote how the arts are important in a primary school student's life.

In this course major studies include technigues for encouraging young children to learn and depict some ideas about education.
Graduates are recognised by the Western Australian College of Teaching (WACOT) as well as the respective State, Catholic and Independent school departments, organisations and associations.
After graduating from Murdoch university student’s prospects within the primary and secondary school teaching professions becomes excellent. Options will be wider if student combines degree with other disciplines. The following are the job opportunities student pursue after completing this degree:- Teacher:- Teachers design classroom presentations to meet student’s needs and abilities. They also work with students individually. Teachers plan, evaluate, and assign lessons, prepare, administer, and grade tests, listen to oral presentations, and maintain classroom discipline. Special Education Teacher:- Special Education Teachers work with children and youths who have a variety of disabilities. A small number of special education teachers work with students with mental retardation or autism, primarily teaching them life skills and basic literacy. Education Administrator:- Education Administrators provide instructional leadership as well as manage the day-to-day activities in schools. Education Administrators set educational standards and goals and establish the policies and procedures to carry them out.
