With this combination students will gain not only engineering training, but also the administrative knowledge to drive the business side of industry using commerce training and also get the skills and experience to get involved in the management side of engineering. Generally students take Management as their Commerce major, for investigating and completing an alternative Commerce major under the guidance of lecturers. Students will also have the choice of one of four engineering majors: Industrial Computer Systems Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering.
Major knowledge of engineering and accounts.
Major studies include development of basic skills related to engineering and commerce.
As per normal undergraduate admission requirements. It is recommended that students have completed the equivalent of Mathematics 3C/3D, Mathematics: Specialist 3C/3D, Physics 3A/3B and Chemistry 3A/3B. Students who do not have the necessary Mathematical and Physics prerequisite knowledge may take an extra semester to complete their studies.
After completing this degree, student will get professional recognition from Engineers Australia and will be able to seek broader career roles focused in the direction of Commerce course.
