Information Technology is integral to all modern organizations for their success through the strategic implementation of both existing and emergent technologies. This course seeks to prepare graduates with a primary skill set in Information Technology, but who also have exposure to the business disciplines (including management, law and organizational theory) allowing them to exploit the convergence of business and IT. The course also prepares students to enter the workplace with the requirement of a full semester of structured workplace learning.
Major knowledge of computers.
The major studies focuses on development and use of information systems as decision-making and problem-solving tools. The program is also intended to develop an understanding of the managerial issues encountered in the operation or introduction of information systems in organizations, particularly, how these tools can be used to gain a competitive edge and to re-engineer an organization.
Students must have successful completion of their Diploma or other recognized post-secondary qualification or equivalent.
The students after completing this courses are accredited at the Professional level with the Australian Computer Society (ACS).

They design, install, analyze and implement computer systems/networks, ensure that the network is effective and that it meets emerging requirements of the organisation. Software Architects/ Developer/ Programmer:-Software Developers/Programmers create, maintain and modify computer and software programs such as operating systems, communications software, utility programs and compilers. They analyse and interpret specification, technical designs and flow charts. IT Business Analyst:- IT Business Analysts review, analyze and evaluate the overall business and information needs of an organization, in order to develop solutions to business and related technology problems.
