If student is already having a degree in any discipline, then this course allows student to achieve a Law qualification and expand range of career options. In this course, students will learn about the legal system and the professional practice of law. Students will get practical experience in our community law clinic and have the chance to travel to Italy or Geneva to complete Law elective units in our European Summer or Human Rights Programs. Students will learn about corporate and commercial law, family law, international law, dispute resolution, Criminal Law and human rights law - which gives a wide range of skills and experience to pursue a range of exciting career options.

A recognised Bachelor degree in any discipline with a strong GPA (as assessed by the Murdoch university).
This program is accredited by the Council of Legal Education (CLE) in Victoria and recognised as meeting the educational requirements for admission to the Supreme Court of Victoria as a barrister and solicitor.To practise as a lawyer, applicant must undertake either 1 year of supervised workplace training (formerly Articles of Clerkship) with a law firm, or a Practical Training Course of 6 months. This course can be undertaken on a fee-paying basis through Leo Cussen Institute or The College of Law. The Leo Cussen course is available both online and face-to-face.
Career options include lawyer within a private firm, government department or community law center, regulatory affairs and policy adviser in the public or private sector or legal specialization related to students' previous degree or enhanced career options within an existing professional sphere.
