Murdoch University

In this course students will learn about the legal system and the professional practice of law from our experienced teaching team. Student can choose to study up to three units at the University of Macerate in Italy, or visit Geneva in Switzerland to study Human Rights Law. Murdoch also offers a program in Chinese Law with students visiting Hong Kong as part of their studies. Students will also get chance to develop debating and reasoning skills up against legal experts and other students at our Free hills Electronic Moot Court, which is designed to feel like a real courtroom. After completing this degree, students will learn communication and interpersonal skills - and apply them .The experience gained by students in professional settings - such as at our community law clinic SCALES - will open up a range of exciting career opportunities for student.

Although all lawyers are licensed to represent parties in court, some appear in court more frequently than others. Trial Lawyers, who specialise in trial work, must be able to think quickly and speak with ease and authority. Patent Lawyer / Agent:-Some lawyers specialise in the growing field of intellectual property, helping to protect clients claims to copyrights, artwork under contract, product designs, and computer programs.
