In this course students gain an in-depth and well-rounded appreciation of Australian politics in the context of the global environment. In this course students will learn how governments and societies are organized and also develop analytical and critical thinking skills to help to express arguments on how to intend and improve them. Our course also offers internships, which gives first-hand experience of the machination of government, government departments and how they interact with each other. This offers an invaluable snapshot into your potential future direction. We offer internships in State Parliament working with politicians at the cutting edge of policy-making, or with a government department learning how policy translates into practice.
