The construction industry employs a large proportion of the Australian workforce. Construction law is complex - so this course aims to equip students with the legal skills and knowledge needed to handle the legal disputes that often arise from difficulties with contract law, contract administration and dispute resolution procedures. Students can apply for this course if student is a qualified lawyer, or another professional with relevant qualifications and industry experience. This course is available part time over one year. After completing this qualification, Students will be ready to pursue a range of challenging roles across the construction industry, including public and private sector positions.

Development of legal skills and knowledge needed to handle the legal disputes that often arise from difficulties with contract law, contract administration and dispute resolution procedures are involved as major concept of study.
A recognised Bachelor's degree, usually requiring at least three years of full-time study or its equivalent, or higher, or satisfactory preparation through a combination of previous study and work experience.For more details contact Study Excel.
The programme is also accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). This accreditation applies to those with an MSc or LLM (not PgCert or PgDip) and demonstrates that these graduates have met the academic requirements for Chartered membership of RICS and are academically qualified to enrol on the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). The APC can be taken concurrently with this course.
