The Graduate Certificate in Development Studies is a practice-oriented program that will prepare students to engage in debates critical to international aid and global development policy. Student will be introduced to the theoretical knowledge and professional skills necessary for rewarding careers in all types of organisations (public, private and not for profit, national and international) engaged in development policy, planning and practice, in Australia and internationally. The 6 month program is designed for recent graduates or those exploring a career change.

Admission to the Graduate Certificates is available to students who have a recognized Bachelor degree in any area.
After completing graduation the students seek membership of a professional organization and are accredited by Australian Computer Society (ACS).
After pursuing this degree, Employment opportunities for students are as follows such as in public sector, the not-for-profit sector and for professionals who work at the intersection between government and business.
