In this course, Students will gain the skills and experience needed to enjoy a career specializing in early childhood education and care. This course is designed for qualified Primary teachers who wish to make Early Childhood Education and Care one of their recognized specializations. The course qualifies teachers to work with children from birth through to kindergarten and preprimary.

In this course major studies focuses on development of tips and techniques to teach and care small chidrens.
This course is not available to international students studying in Australia on a student visa, it is available to international students on other visas if visa conditions allow. Recognized four year Primary or Early Childhood Teaching Qualification. Students will need to consider the teaching regulations for their jurisdiction.
Graduates will be eligible for registration with the Western Australian College of Teachers (WACOT). Registration will be recognized by all national teacher accreditation authorities. However, it is the responsibility of graduates to ensure they consult with the Study Excel office to register as a qualified educator regarding registration requirements.
Graduates will have the skills, knowledge and experience required to teach in early childhood education. Additional careers include Child Care Coordinator, Childcare, Family Day Care, Children's Services, Playgroups, Kindergarten - education administrator or policy development officer.
