This course helps student to learn the skills which are needed to make a real difference to sustainable development policy. As the world's focus shifts towards a more sustainable future, new approaches to policy are emerging in areas such as energy, industry, household, agriculture and fisheries. Students will be able to choose units from three areas such as: Environmental management and policy, Sociocultural issues and policy, Institutional/policy processes.Students will also learn to interpret Ecological Sustainable Development issues and apply them to work in government, business and civil society. This course is particularly valuable if student is already working in environmental policy and management, local sustainability issues and international development.
Major knowledge of biology and evironmental science.
In this course major studies include development of skills related to sustainable development policy, Environmental management and policy, Sociocultural issues and policy, Institutional/policy processes.
To be eligible to this course, Student must have a recognized bachelor's degree, usually requiring at least three years of full-time study or its equivalent, or higher, or satisfactory preparation through a combination of previous study and work experience. For more details contact Study Excel.
