This secondary school teaching program has been designed to be small, personal and flexible. It offers theoretical and practical perspectives on learning and teaching, based on contemporary research and knowledge about how information and communications technologies enhance learning.

Theoretical and practical perspectives on learning and teaching, based on contemporary research and knowledge about how information and communications technologies enhance learning are included as major concepts of study.
Recognized and appropriate Bachelor's degree or higher, the degree must be relevant to one of the learning areas offered at Murdoch.
On completion of this degree, Graduates become eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching in their particular specializations. Through reciprocal arrangements with registration authorities, graduates can practice as teachers nationally and overseas.
Murdoch graduates are employed in government and non-government schools and other education related occupations throughout the world. Students should note, however, that some Australian states require a minimum of two years of professional pre-service education.
