In this coursework qualification, Students learn about human resource management law and organizational behavior and management. Students will also have the option to complete studies in dispute management, occupational health and safety or comparative employee relations.
Good communication skills.
Major studies focuses on development of knowledge and skills to engage in selective employee relations functions including collective bargaining, workplace dispute management, occupational health and safety practice, and legal aspects of human resource management.
Recognised Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent training, or satisfactory preparation for the course through previous study or professional experience.
After completing this course over one semester full-time or part-time equivalent, Students can choose to progress further with our Postgraduate Diploma in Employee Relations Management or alternatively our Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management and continue on to complete a Masters qualification.
As an employee relations practitioner, Students can pursue a range of career opportunities, from specialist employee relations roles in small and large organizations to consultancy and advocacy roles.
