This certificate is designed to focus on the vital role that human resource management (HRM) plays in the design and functioning of organizations. In this course, Students will learn about employment policies, legal and environmental regulations and organizational design. Students will also become familiar with interviewing and hiring processes, job assessment including rewards and recognition, pay and benefits. Students will also study HRM Perspectives and HRM Law, and specialize in one of these five units: Acquisition of Human Resources, Organizational Behavior and Management, Managing, Evaluating and Developing Human Resources, Managing Remuneration, Benefits and Motivation, or Occupational Health and Safety Law. This HRM postgraduate certificate, containing the basic first three units (or 12 credit points) of HRM, offers a pathway to our other postgraduate HR courses. This means that students can use it as a standalone qualification or as a first step towards a postgraduate diploma in HRM or even a Master in HRM.
