This course helps student to develop IT expertise to the highest professional level with a Doctor of Information Technology. This intensive program covers a wide range of topical issues and units pertinent to the IT industry. During first two semesters students can choose from a selection of units and begin tailoring study program to suit interests. Following this, Student will undertake a dissertation aimed at making a significant contribution to professional practice in Information Technology.

In this course major studies include development of core knowledge and skills required to teach, consult, collaborate, advocate and evaluate in an inclusive service delivery model.
To be eligible to this course ,Applicants should hold a four-year degree in Information Technology or a related discipline (or its equivalent). This may include an Honors degree or a postgraduate diploma in IT, Computer Science or Information Systems. Applicants without research preparation will receive research training as part of the degree.Applicants with a Master's degree in IT, including the MSc(IT), can get up to 24 points credit towards the DIT.
This qualification is a professional specialization offering the opportunity for teachers to enhance their employment options and employability within the teaching field. The Certificate is recognized by the WA Department of Education.
After pursuing this degree the student may get employment as Special Education Teacher , Resource Room or Learning Assistance Teacher ,Resource Facilitator, Special Education Consultant .
