This course will help students to develop practical understanding of IT management, IT change and IT development through a program of coursework, or coursework combined with a dissertation focusing on an area chosen by students. Students will also have the option to study full-time over 2 years, or manage studies part-time to fit with work or home commitments.
Good knowledge of computers and internet.
Major studies include gaining of detailed knowledge related to information resources, communication and technology-related problems in businesses and other organizations.
A recognized Bachelor's degree in the same or a relevant area, usually requiring at least three years of full-time study or its equivalent, or higher, or satisfactory preparation through a combination of previous study and work experience.
By completing the MSc(IT) students will have covered the first component of the professional Doctor of Information Technology (DIT) and This program is accredited by the Australian Computer Society(ACS) and graduates become eligible for full professional membership.
After completing this course, Students can pursue a career as an analyst, programmer, project manager, or a role in computer support, database development and database administration.
