Murdoch University

Murdoch university’s comprehensive program of study will teach students much more than how to fix glitches and bugs, as this course focus on helping students to develop as a well-rounded business and IT professional and effective communicator. Murdoch university will help students to achieve contemporary and industry-relevant content which will involve completing an individual study project in an area of choice as well as class-based study on areas including security, knowledge management, data communications and business analysis.
Good knowledge of computers and internet.
Major studies include gaining of detailed knowledge related to information resources, communication and technology-related problems in businesses and other organizations.
Recognized bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent training, or satisfactory preparation through previous study or professional experience. Some of the units taken assume some prior knowledge. On completing Postgraduate Diploma students will gain an accreditation to Professional Level with the Australian Computer Society (ACS and will also be able to use units completed as part of this qualification to give advanced path towards Postgraduate Masters of Science in Information Technology.
After completing this course, Students can pursue a career as an analyst, programmer, project manager, or a role in computer support, database development and database administration.
