This course helps student to explore the issues, history and development of international education as student proceed to study a range of international models and practices. If student is already working as a qualified teacher, Then this course will expand qualifications to the International Baccalaureate (IB) authorized programs, making students eligible to register for an IB Teacher Award Level 1 Certificate. Students will also explore the Primary Years Program, Middle Years Program OR Diploma Program. Depending on unit selected by student, Student can complete this postgraduate certificate in 6 to 12 months. Intensive summer and winter modes will help to fit study around existing teaching commitments. An IB teaching portfolio will be constructed throughout the three units.

Major studies focuses on exploring issues, history and development of international education , Primary Years Program, Middle Years Program OR Diploma Program.
Recognized qualification as an Early Childhood Education, Primary or Secondary teacher. For example: Bachelor of Education, Diploma of Education, Graduate Diploma of Education, or equivalent. Applicants will also need to obtain: Federal Police Clearance, a WA Working with Children Check and be registered with their local teacher registration body, e.g. the Western Australian College of Teaching (WACOT).
After completing this qualification, Students will receive a certificate from the IB, and be eligible to work at any IB accredited school in Australia or overseas.
After graduating, Students will ideally be equipped to enter the teaching profession as a secondary school modern-languages teacher.
