In this course, Students will have the opportunity to conduct research at an advanced level to build on existing qualifications. Students will also have the chance to achieve an in-depth understanding of major legal and policy issues of legal study beyond what is available at an undergraduate level. Students will also develop critical analysis skills, improve writing and oral presentation skills, and learn new research practices. This course allows to work closely with teachers and fellow students to gain a broader understanding of legal studies, while enhancing career opportunities and professional development.

A recognized bachelor's degree, usually requiring at least three years of full-time study or its equivalent, or higher, or satisfactory preparation through a combination of previous study and work experience.
The students gain accreditation as a Trade Marks or Patent Attorney after completing this course from Murdoch university.
Students obtain a well-rounded qualification that opens the way to the variety of careers for which an understanding of law is relevant, including legal practice, private industry, commerce, government, education and community services. Our graduates also find work in federal and state politics, government, business management and consultancy roles.
