Course Description

This course explores fundamental philosophical issues while providing a rigorous training in critical and creative thinking. Students are able to specialize in particular areas of their choice including metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, ethics and moral and political philosophy.

Major Studies

Major studies focuses on development of knowledge related to modern philosophical concepts and debates and understanding of the foundations of modern political liberalism and democratic life is involved as major concept of study.

Eligibility Criteria

Recognized Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent training, or satisfactory preparation for the course through previous study or professional experience.

Professional Accreditation

After pursuing this degree from Murdoch university the students gets accreditation from “The Australasian Association of Philosophy”.

A Doctor of Philosophy produces individuals who can apply a substantial body of knowledge to research, investigate and develop new knowledge, in one or more fields of investigation, scholarship or professional practice.
