This programme consists of seminars conducted by staffs who are leaders in their field. In addition applied research will take to a new level of expertise in clinical psychology aimed at setting on the path to become an expert in chosen field. Our course is intensive and hard work, however our teaching staff, who are all practicing psychologists, are passionate about learning and will guide and support students throughout studies with Murdoch.

Prevention, research, intervention, and evaluation techniques through supervised training at Psychology Clinic is involved as major part of study .
Applicants should hold a four-year degree in Psychology with the equivalent of a 2A honors degree in Psychology. Students with overseas qualifications who may be accepted into the course need to ensure, should wish to seek registration within Australia after graduation, that their undergraduate qualification meets the requirements of the relevant psychology registration board for equivalence to a four-year Australian degree in Psychology. Applicants who hold the equivalent of the relevant Master of Applied Psychology are to complete the balance of units in the DPsych.
This course also meets full registration requirements for the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council and approval by the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society.
The employment opportunities for students of these positions are entry-level, but they can be a great way to gain experience after pursuing a doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology. Some possible job titles in this area include: Behavioral counselor, Health project coordinator, Psychiatric technician, Rehabilitation specialist, Group home coordinator, Family services worker, Child protection worker, Child care supervisor.
