This course meets the academic requirements for becoming a registered psychologist by completing a fully-accredited Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology.
Good analytical and communication skills.
Major studies involves the scientific study of mental functions and behaviors. Concepts such as perception, cognition, attention, emotion, phenomenology, motivation, brain functioning, personality, behavior, and interpersonal relationships are studied.
Recognized three-year bachelor's degree in Psychology from an accredited program. Some students may be required to complete additional units to satisfy specified unit prerequisites.
After completing this course the students gets accreditation by an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council and will allow students to work towards becoming a registered psychologist.
As a graduate of the Bachelor of Psychology students will be eligible to apply for admission to seek conditional registration as a psychologist in Western Australia, or to the Master of Applied Psychology in either Clinical or Organizational Psychology, successful completion of this degree will allow student to apply for full registration as a psychologist in Western Australia.Students will also have additional career paths within the fields of counseling, human resources, occupational safety and health, training, marketing and social research.
