As a Public Relations student, Students will get real life experience, building public relations strategies and communication plans for real organizations. Students will learn the skills to affect public perception, build media profiles, as well as being trained in conflict resolution. Students will also be able to undertake a professional placement, gaining real industry experience and building your professional network. With this course students will gain skills in critical and analytical thinking, public speaking, conflict management and communication strategy. Students will also learn about the ethical and professional issues facing the public relations profession.

Major studies include gaining of skills related to public Relations and knowledge related to various aspects of public relations theory and practice, concentrating on topics such as campaign management and conflict resolution.
A recognized Bachelor's degree in any field other than public relations, usually requiring at least three years of full-time study or its equivalent, or higher, or satisfactory preparation through a combination of previous study and work experience.
Public Relations degree is accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Australia. This means that graduating from this course can accelerate student’s path to membership of the institute .
After pursuing this degree, Graduates work in Commonwealth, state and local government, PR agencies, not-for-profits, and corporate and political organisations.
