This course is designed to provide suitably trained graduates a fast track, one year qualification, With this course students will expand knowledge in one of three specializations: Renewable Energy Systems, Renewable Energy Policy, Energy Efficiency. Students will also undertake a dissertation where student can explore an area that student is really passionate about.
Basic knowledge of energy and physics.
Major studies focuses on renewable energy systems, renewable energy Policy, energy efficiency.
A recognized Honors degree or higher, or equivalent training, in Sustainable Energy Management or Renewable Energy Engineering, or Postgraduate Diploma in Energy Studies, or Postgraduate Diploma in Energy and the Environment, or satisfactory preparation through previous study or professional experience.
Graduates of this engineering courses are eligible for graduate membership of Engineers Australia. Full Chartered Professional Engineer status can then be achieved after a further three to five years of work experience in the engineering profession.
This course will give students the opportunity to seek specialist roles in the challenging and rapidly expanding field of renewable energy and energy efficiency systems.
