Basic knowldeg of science.

Major studies focuses on knowledge of practicing science teachers in upper primary, high schools and colleges, and others involved in the field of science education. The program addresses professional learning opportunities for teachers of science (covering both the life sciences and physical sciences which includes Math’s and IT) by providing access to current developments in science ("hot topics") as well as examining how new topics can be introduced into the classroom curriculum.

Recognized teaching qualification, or equivalent, with no completed studies in first year university physics or first year university chemistry.

This program is accredited by Department of Education, Western Australia.

Highly accomplished teachers of science (at all levels) are in high demand in all education sectors nationally and internationally. The skills and knowledge gained in this program will earmark student as a leading science educator.
