This course includes units in the literary history of Britain, America, Australia and postcolonial societies, creative writing and theatre, popular culture and film, and critical theory. The emphasis is on developing an understanding of how we communicate and of diverse forms of representation across time, culture and media.

Major studies include understanding of major literary, cinematic and theatrical traditions across the globe.
After pursuing this degree, Students get opportunity to lay the foundation for further study at honours and postgraduate level.
