Accounting is acknowledged as 'the language of business'. The Accounting major focuses on the preparation, interpretation and communication of accounting information which is essential for making effective decision within an organization. Students can choose to undertake focused study in either financial or management accounting, or complete a more generalized program of study covering a wide range of accounting subjects in greater depth. This major is taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, workshops, and other in-class activities.
