The Quantitative Methods major will serve as the basis for a career in quantitative methods or as a strong complementary component of a degree in science, engineering, computing or other fields.

In this course major studies includes development of quantitative and research skills to develop and employ mathematical models, theories and/or hypotheses pertaining to phenomena.
On completion of this course, Students may progress to a related honors or postgraduate course when combined with an appropriate second major.
