The Graduate Certificate in Music Practitioner Studies relates to music performance, music pedagogy, music medicine, social anthropology and psychology. This course is based on a series of home-based learning assignments delivered through online and textbook materials. Throughout the program, students are encouraged to investigate social, psychological, creative, educational, therapeutic, and anthropological music practitioner approaches. Practical skills are the focal point of all investigative work.
Basic knowledge of music.
Major studies includes development of skills related to investigation of social, psychological, creative, educational, therapeutic and anthropological music practicing approaches.
International students must have a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline (where required), completed to a sufficiently high standard.
This course will further enhance music practitioner skills and knowledge and prepare students for the next level in musical career. This course leads to become Music Professional, Music Teacher, Musician.
