This diploma is particularly suited to leaders and professionals in the Education sector who want to undertake preliminary postgraduate studies that also provide the option for future study. The delivery arrangements of this course are flexible and meet the needs of those in full-time careers. Participants will be exposed to theory as well as national and international educational leadership practices. It is encouraged that these diverse theories and leadership practices are linked with own experiences in order to improve knowledge and practices. If participants plan to apply to articulate the diploma with the Master of Education (coursework) participants must take account of the requirements for the relevant Master of Education when choosing their units.

In this course the major studies include study related to leadership and management in preparation for senior positions in educational, training and community contexts.
International students must have a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline (where required), completed to a sufficiently high standard.
