Postgraduate Accounting studies will provide students with training in the technical aspects of the preparation of accounting data, development of skills in the application of accounting information to solve problems and make decisions, develop knowledge and skills in related professional disciplines such as finance, taxation, auditing and management. This course provides an opportunity for graduates to obtain a qualification that is recognized by professional accounting bodies and the wider business community.
Basic knowledge of accountancy.
Major studies focus on development of in depth knowledge related to accountancy and tax is studied.
International students must have a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline (where required), completed to a sufficiently high standard.
This course is accredited by accounting associations such as The Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA Australia), the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). Graduates are eligible to enter the membership programs of these organizations.
