In this course Doctor of Podiatric Medicine the study involves the gaining of in depth knowledge related to medical diagnosis and management of conditions that are dermatological, neurological, vascular and musculoskeletal in nature that may be local or systemic that are manifested in the lower extremity and especially the foot and ankle. A podiatric physician can help prevent amputations while saving limbs and lives. By the time student’s complete graduation, Student’s will be able to apply the cutting edge technology of living cell and gene therapy to the field of diabetic wound healing.

This course is accredited by the Australia and New Zealand Podiatry Accreditation Council as an entry-to-practice qualification as a general podiatrist with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
After pursuing this degree from University Of Western Australia, Graduates will be eligible for registration as general podiatrists in Australia and New Zealand without the need for any further preregistration training or compulsory internship and this course leads to become Podiatrist.
