The Bachelor of Psychology provides a thorough education in the scientific discipline of psychology and introduces students to the applications of psychology.

Gaining of thorough knowledge in the scientific discipline of psychology and educational breadth by studying other disciplines at least to the second year level. Advanced theoretical level study in core areas and applied topics in psychology together with advanced research training is studied as major concept of study.
Applicants for the BPsych must meet minimum university entrance requirements. Satisfactory achievement in TCE Science and/or Mathematics subjects is desirable.
Articulation to or from the course the students can be awarded the credit for relevant units will be given to transferring students.This course is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).
Graduates with a Psychology major find employment in the public sector and in business, in areas such as health and human services, education, social services and community welfare,employment and training, management and marketing, clinical psychology,educational psychology, rehabilitation and health psychology,organizational psychology,forensic psychology,sport psychology,research psychology.
