Unlike many other law programs, this legal degree does not require a prior bachelor’s degree or for you to study a double degree. In other words, it makes it faster for students to get the qualifications that they need. This new four-year standalone law degree encourages students to look beyond law as a function of rules and procedures or as a technical qualification. As such, Students will learn about the social, political, historical, cultural and economic factors that influence the law’s development, and how the law is likely to change in the future.

Gaining of knowledge related to Criminal Justice and Procedure, Foundations of Law, Contracts, Law, Lawyers and Society, Torts, Jurisprudence, Property Law, Equity and Trusts, Business Organizations, International Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Civil and Criminal Procedure are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
The Macquarie Bachelor of Laws is accredited with professional bodies regulating the admission of law graduates to legal practice and provides appropriate qualification for admission to practice as a lawyer throughout Australia.
Students of this course will have career in community legal centers, diplomatic service, education, financial institutions, health services, in-house counsel, legal practice, media organizations.
