This program provides a pathway to several masters programs for candidates who do not qualify for direct entry. Students need to select courses in area of interest, including human resource management, event and sport management, information systems, marketing, hospitality and tourism. Upon successful completion, Students become eligible for admission into the specific master’s program that relates to studies undertaken in the graduate certificate program.

In this course the major studies include gaining of skills related to a set of core courses, a choice of electives drawn from Business, Society and Culture and economics courses, and a capstone that integrates concepts students have been exposed to in the major. The other core courses include key business courses in ethics, history and management.
Up on completing this degree from Griffith university students become eligible to apply for admission to one or more of the following professional bodies such as Australian Human Resource Institute, The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).
Completion of the Graduate Certificate in Business will provide a pathway for students wishing to pursue more advanced studies in a specific discipline. The primary purpose of this course is to prepare students for further postgraduate studies. Students will graduate with a foundation level of knowledge in a specific discipline and will be equipped to handle the more advanced studies encountered in a Master’s program.
A minimum score of 575 on TOEFL, an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 88 (no score less than 21), a minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0.
