Curtin offers a progressive, balanced and successful architecture program. Architecture consists of five years study in total. The first three years leads to the Bachelor of Applied Science (Architectural Science). The final two years lead to a Master of Architecture qualification. Architecture combines the creative practices of an architectural design studio with the cultural, social, technical and sustainable issues that are associated with the built environment. The relationship between the natural and constructed environment, the architectural proposition and the occupation of space, forms a critical component of the education process. A strong architectural community is developed in the school through exhibitions and publications.
