This course is outlined for a sustainable, responsive and high-quality healthcare system that would deliver equity of care to all patients in Australia.The Clinical Leadership refers to a set of tasks which leads to improvements in the safety and quality of health care, and the attributes required to successfully carry them out.This course is designed for practicing clinicians in leadership roles in health services.
General assumption of term Clinical Leadership and its relevancy in medical field.
Major studies focus on development of knowledge related to health systems and policy, leadership skills, legal, ethical and clinical governance issues, interpreting data and evaluating evidence.
Candidates for the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Leadership shall be qualified for entry if they are aregistered and currently practicing clinician for a minimumof 3yrs,OR have equivalent experience or qualifications as deemed appropriate by the Dean.
Articulation to or from the course can be given to the candidates who may articulate from the GradDipClinLship (M6M) to the MClinLship (M7M).This course has been accredited by the Australian College of Health Service Executives.
