Professional accountants analyses the financial dealings of a business or an individual and prepare reports or give advice on their record-keeping and compliance requirements. In this major students will develop comprehensive understanding of accounting and the associated fields of auditing, taxation, business law and financial management. Students will cover a variety of accounting units as well as some business, law and finance studies. In this major students will be introduced to accounting principles, auditing, taxation and relevant areas of business law and financial management. Students will examine the recording and communication of information relating to the financial performance of organizations.

Gaining of knowledge related to Accounting, Business Law, Economics, Communication in Business, Business Information Systems, Management, Management Accounting, Marketing, Company Law for Business, Finance Principles, Financial Accounting, Accounting Systems, Taxation, Advanced Financial Accounting, Auditing, Management Control Systems, Accounting Theory and Analysis, Business Capstone are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students are eligible to this course if they have score 6 in GCE/STPM/HKALE (A-levels - best of three), score 26 in IB, score 8 Indonesia (SMU3 top 4 subjects), score 73 in Ontario Gr 12 (best of 6), score 70 in TER (including TEE/SACE/HSC/VCE), score 53 in WAUFP (CPS), 65% in India/Pakistan, score 7 in Sri Lanka.
This course is accredited by Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia (CPA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA), and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).
Students of this course will have career as senior management positions in Australia and internationally.
