Students will cover a variety of accounting units as well as some business, law and investment evaluation, how to fund activities, the roles played by financial markets and instruments, structure and operations of financial markets, financial securities that trade in financial markets. In this course students will be introduced to accounting principles, auditing, taxation and relevant areas of business law and financial management and corporate finance, working for financial institutions, the financial services industry’s knowledge.

Gaining of knowledge related to Accounting, Business Law, Communication in Business, Economics, Business Information Systems, Management, Marketing, Quantitative Techniques for Business, Management Accounting, Finance Principles, Financial Accounting, Company Law for Business, Accounting Systems, Taxation, Advanced Financial Accounting, Microeconomics, Auditing, Management Control Systems, Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management, Financial Derivative Securities, Accounting Theory and Analysis, International Finance, Business Capstone are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students are eligible to this course if they have score 6 in GCE/STPM/HKALE (A-levels - best of three), score 26 in IB, score 8 Indonesia (SMU3 top 4 subjects), score 73 in Ontario Gr 12 (best of 6), score 70 in TER (including TEE/SACE/HSC/VCE), score 53 in WAUFP (CPS), 65% in India/Pakistan, score 7 in Sri Lanka.
This course is accredited by Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia (CPA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA), and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).
Students of this course will have career in corporate finance, financial institutions, financial markets and various branches of the financial services industry and in accounting.
