Designed for those who have previously completed an accounting degree, this course will develop student’s advanced accounting skills. This advanced course empowers students to provide high-level advice to management and governing bodies, as well as undertake leadership positions within the workplace. Successful completion of this course will provide an advanced level of knowledge in the three core areas of auditing, financial accounting and managerial accounting and assists in developing skills needed for an international career in accounting.

Gaining of knowledge related to Accounting Information Systems, Corporate Accounting Issues, Managerial Accounting, Quantitative Methods for Accounting, Fundamentals of Business and Corporations Law, Accounting for Governance and Ethics, Business Research Methods, Corporate Accounting, Public Sector Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Audit and Assurance, Corporate Reporting, Strategic Management Accounting, Accounting Research Project, Advanced Taxation, International Finance, Audit and Assurance, Managerial Accounting are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students are eligible to this course if they have recognized bachelor degree majoring in Accounting.
This course is accredited by Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia.
Students of this course will gain positions in public practice accounting and business.
