This degree is firmly grounded in business studies, but specifically designed for future leaders in the travel and tourism industry who need to understand the key role that marketing plays in this field. The distinguishing features of this course include a teaching style that blends theory and practical work where students are offered the opportunity to undertake an industry project (practicum) and/or an international study tour. Also, a triple-bottom line approach is adopted where economic, social and environmental impacts of tourism are examined.
