Accounting is the collection, measurement and communication of economic information which is used for planning, reporting and decision making. This double degree is designed to give students practical financial skills and the ability to apply them in accounting focused careers. In this course students will study economics and accounting principles, systems, management and reporting.
Good knowledge of Accounts.
Gaining of knowledge related to Accounting, Techniques and Elements of Finance, Principles of Management, Macroeconomic Principles, Microeconomic Principles, Marketing Fundamentals, Introductory Statistics or Statistical Data, Fundamentals of Management Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting, Accounting Systems Design and Development, Applied Financial Analysis and Management, Business Law, Introductory Econometrics, Issues in Applied Finance, Organisational Planning and Control, Corporate Accounting and Reporting, Accountants in the Profession, Auditing and Assurance Services, Corporations Law, Financial Econometrics are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students are eligible to this course if they have Good knowledge of mathematics (HSC Mathematics band 4, or international equivalent).
This course is accredited by Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
