Finance is the study of money, banking, investment and credit. It involves the study of financial organisations, markets and instruments and their effect on the flow of funds within the economy. Students will study corporate finance, derivative pricing, finance theory, portfolio management and credit, market and operational risk. This Double Degree with a Bachelor of Laws will give students greater insight into the role of law in finance. Macquarie Law will give students knowledge of legal principles and the critical and analytic skills to really understand them. Students will study established areas such as constitutional law, international law, contract law and family law. Students will also look at areas of contemporary concern such as consumer law, environmental law, health law and information technology law.
