Do you want to learn how to manage, restore and protect our environment? The Bachelor of Environment allows students to study both the social and scientific aspects of the environmental field. Students will be introduced to environmental issues and learn about the science and technology associated with environmental science. Bachelor of Environment students will also explore legal, political, ethical and economic issues that relate to the environment, as well as people’s perceptions and desires in tackling environmental issues in the real world. The degree ensures a solid grounding in one of six science majors: biology, chemistry, climate science, environmental Earth science, environmental geology, spatial information science.
Good knowledge of Environment and Biology.
Students can select one of these as a major: Environmental Management, Environmental Management and Environmental Science, Environmental Science.
Students are eligible to this course if they have HSC Biology, HSC Geography and HSC Earth and Environmental Science; or international equivalents.
Students of this course will have career in Community-based resource management, Environmental and resource management, Environmental consultancy, Environmental education, Environmental field and laboratory based research and monitoring roles, Environmental planning, Environmental policy, Heritage administration.
