This interdisciplinary degree provides students with a broad background in the sciences needed for research in medical, biomedical and related health professions. This degree is a broad and flexible program in the biological, chemical and bimolecular sciences that provides a solid base for further study in medical and allied areas with a strong focus on research skills. Students will have practical knowledge as well as theory.

Gaining of knowledge related to Evolution and Biodiversity, The Thread of Life, Organic and Biological Chemistry - The Chemistry of Life, Physics for Life Sciences, Introductory Statistics, Biochemistry, Systems Physiology, Neurophysiology, Biological Sciences Capstone, Chemistry Capstone, Biomolecular Sciences Capstone, Neuroethology are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students are eligible to this course if they have knowledge of mathematics and chemistry (HSC Mathematics and HSC Chemistry, or international equivalents).
Students of this course will have career as Biotechnologist, drug discovery and development researcher, forensic scientist, genetic counsellor, health researcher, histologist, hospital scientist, medical researcher.
