The Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) with the degree Bachelor of Health provides students with a multidisciplinary view of health and an integrated awareness of the determinants, distribution and consequences of health and ill health in contemporary societies. Psychology is the science of the human mind. Health, or the prevention of disease, is a social, political, cultural and economic issue in Australia and around the world. In this double degree students will use scientific methods to study personal and social issues.

Gaining of knowledge related to Drugs across Cultures, Human Biology, Geographies of Global Change, Demographic Fundamentals, Introduction to Psychology, Illness and Healing, Geographical, Perspectives on Population, Contemporary Health Issues, Psychology, Health and Wellbeing, Social and Personality Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Biopsychology and Learning, Cognitive Processes, Perception, Design and Statistics, Methods of Social Research, Psychological Science: Putting Theory into Practice, Geographies of Health, Health Promotion, Legal, Ethical and Policy Directions in Health, Design and Statistics, Research Methods in Psychology are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students are eligible to this course if they have knowledge of mathematics (HSC Mathematics, or international equivalent).
This course is accredited by Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).
