In this degree students will develop knowledge of scientific and legal principles while building problem solving and critical thinking skills. Students will specialise in one of the science majors listed below. Macquarie Law will also give knowledge of legal principles and the critical and analytic skills to the students. Students will study established areas such as constitutional law, international law, contract law and family law. Students will also look at areas of contemporary concern such as consumer law, environmental law, health law and information technology law.
Good Communication Skills and knowledge of Physics Chemistry.
Gaining of knowledge related to Criminal Justice and Procedure, Foundations of Law, Contracts, Law, Lawyers and Society, Torts, Jurisprudence, Property Law, Equity and Trusts, Business Organisations, International Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Civil and Criminal Procedure are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students of this course can pursue careers where their Science studies allow them to specialise in their work as a legal practitioner (barrister or solicitor), legal officer in public or private sectors, and in legal academia.
