Accounting is the collection, measurement and communication of economic information that is used for planning, reporting and decision-making. In this course students will develop management information systems for decision-making and organisational control. Students will study a set of broad, integrated foundation subjects. Accountants are in demand worldwide, in all areas of commerce, industry and government.
Good knowledge of Mathematics and good Communication Skills.
Gaining of knowledge related to Techniques and Elements of Finance, Principles of Management, Microeconomic Principles, Marketing Fundamentals, Introduction to Psychology, Accounting, Accounting Information for Decision-Making, Social and Personality Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Biopsychology and Learning, Cognitive Processes, Design and Statistics, Psychological Science: Putting Theory into Practice, Principles of Psychological Assessment, Fundamentals of Management Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting, Applied Financial Analysis and Management, Financial Management, Accountants in the Profession are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students are eligible to this course if they have HSC General Mathematics.
This course is accredited by Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).
