A Business Information Systems major will then give students the IT skills to use, manage and develop business information systems for accounting, marketing and finance. Understanding the business impacts of information systems is a skill that’s in demand – after all, organizations rely on IT and web technology to engage customers, boost productivity and improve efficiency. Students will study the different types of information systems, the content within them, and the roles they play in organizations. Students will develops analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills that are valued in any industry.
Good knowledge of Mathematics.
Gaining of knowledge related to Techniques and Elements of Finance, Principles of Management, Microeconomic Principles, Marketing Fundamentals, Introduction to Psychology, Accounting Information for Decision-Making, Developmental Psychology, Biopsychology and Learning, Design and Statistics, Principles of Psychological Assessment, Introduction to Business Information Systems, Enterprise Systems Integration, Technology Management are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students are eligible to this course if they have HSC Mathematics.
