Human resource management is a crucial function in medium and large organizations. It involves the management of employees and the employment relationship, including recruiting, selecting, remunerating, developing and retaining staff. The HR manager’s responsibilities include: workforce and succession planning, performance management and training systems, equity and diversity across organizations. The Human Resources major prepares students to respond to new challenges and changes in the workplace. Students will develop change management and sustainability techniques. Students will learn how to formulate strategies to get the right employees, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time.
Good knowledge of Mathematics and good Communication Skills.
Gaining of knowledge related to Organizational Behavior, Introduction to Human Resources, Foundations in Human Resources Law, Workplace Relations, Human Resource Management, Workforce Demography and Planning, Strategic Human Resources Management, Human Resources Learning and Development, International Human Resource Management, Change Management and Sustainability are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students are eligible to this course if they have HSC Mathematics.
This course is accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute.
